Well, India is two and a half hours ahead of Kuwait, so a 6pm class starting in India becomes 3:30pm local time here in Kuwait, and a 7pm India class becomes 4:30pm Kuwait time. With a school day that starts early and finishes in the early afternoon, there is a genuine gap between when school ends and when a class can begin, rather than a rushed and difficult scramble.

The school week in Kuwait runs Sunday through Thursday, with the weekend falling on Friday and Saturday. India's weekend is Saturday and Sunday, so Saturday creates the overlap point where a weekend class could potentially be held. However, most families living in Kuwait find a weekday mid-afternoon slot easier and more manageable given their school's specific timetable.

Fees for Kuwait families are quoted in dinars, and because the dinar is the strongest currency of any market we operate in, the numbers look quite small by direct comparison to other regions - one-to-one tuition is KWD 11 a month for 1 subject, KWD 21 for 2 to 3 subjects and KWD 29 for all subjects in Class 1 to 5; KWD 13, KWD 25 and KWD 35 in Class 6 to 8 (20% more, because subjects separate out and need specialist depth); and KWD 15, KWD 29 and KWD 41 in Class 9 and 10 (40% more, because they are board-exam years taught by subject specialists, with past papers and marking schemes); the standard plan, for 2 to 3 subjects, is 4 classes a week, 60 minutes each (16 a month).
