School fee receipt generator
This school fee receipt generator takes the school or tutor name, student details, term, amount and mode of payment, and produces a clean, printable receipt - with the amount already spelled out in words underneath the figure.
It prints cleanly on A5 or A4, includes a signature line, and nothing typed here is stored anywhere. It is a formatting tool, not a payment or record-keeping system.

What a fee receipt needs, and why
A fee receipt exists for one reason: proof that a specific amount was paid, by a specific person, on a specific date, for a specific purpose. Every field on this generator maps to that one job - drop any of them and the receipt stops being useful as a record, which is why school name, receipt number, student details, term, amount, mode and date are all required before the printable version appears.
Why the amount is written twice
Writing an amount only in digits leaves room for a stray digit to change its meaning entirely - 4,500 becomes 14,500 with one added character. Writing it in words as well, the way this generator does automatically, is the same safeguard used on cheques and legal documents: the words are much harder to alter without the change being obvious.
Why a receipt number matters even for one-off tutoring
A receipt number turns a single piece of paper into part of a sequence, which is what makes it possible to check later that nothing is missing or duplicated. Private tutors are the group most likely to skip this field, and the one most likely to need it later when a parent asks for a full term's receipts at once.
Why this only formats, and does not store
A tool that remembered every receipt typed into it would be a far bigger promise than a free formatting page can honestly keep - it would need real security, backups, and a plan for what happens if a browser tab is closed halfway through. This generator makes the honest, smaller promise instead: it formats and prints, and then it forgets, exactly like a printed receipt book would.
Privacy, stated plainly
There is no server call anywhere in this generator. Every field is held in memory only for as long as the tab stays open, matching what our privacy policy promises across the whole site.
Before you hand it over
- A generated receipt is a draft until it is signed - and stamped, where the school or tutor normally uses a stamp.
- Double-check the amount in words against the amount in digits before printing - they are generated from the same figure, but a proof-read costs nothing.
- Keep the receipt number sequence consistent across a term - this tool does not track it for you.
- Nothing here is saved, so note the receipt number somewhere else before closing the tab.

About the school fee receipt generator
Is this fee receipt legally valid?
The layout is a standard, complete fee receipt format - it becomes a valid record once it is signed and, where the school or tutor uses one, stamped. This tool only formats and prints it; it does not register, store or submit anything anywhere, so the signing and record-keeping still happen the way they normally would.
How is the amount in words generated?
It reuses the same Indian rupee-words logic as the number to words converter on this site: the rupee amount is spelled out, any decimal part is read as paise, and the line is wrapped as "Rupees ... Only", the convention used on receipts and cheques so the figure cannot be altered after it is written.
Can I generate receipts for a tutor rather than a school?
Yes. The "school or tutor name" field takes either - a private tutor's name and a subject or class in the term field works exactly the same way as a school's name and an academic term.
Will it print on A5, not just A4?
Yes. The receipt is a fixed, moderate width rather than a full-page layout, so it prints cleanly on A5 as well as A4 - check your printer's paper size setting in the print dialog before printing.
Is anything I type here saved or sent anywhere?
No. The receipt is built and printed entirely inside your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored between visits, and closing the tab clears every field - exactly what our privacy policy promises across the site.
