Class 3 Gujarati test - common questions
Is this Class 3 Gujarati online test free?
It is entirely free, requiring no sign-up whatsoever. No email address, no user account, and no login is needed. Your browser runs the test directly, and data is not stored anywhere. The score displays on your screen and clears when you shut the tab - this commitment reflects our privacy standards.
Which syllabus does it follow?
This test draws from the GCERT Class 3 Gujarati course taught throughout Gujarat State Board schools. Under a 2023 state law, Gujarati is mandatory as a language subject across all schools in Gujarat. Therefore, whether a school follows CBSE or ICSE standards, schools within the state teach the same jodakshar and grammar concepts covered in this test.
Is there a timer?
A feature disabled initially and entirely optional. A timer on an unfamiliar paper evaluates anxiety more than Gujarati, so the first session ought to proceed without time constraints.
Can my child take it more than once?
Unlimited attempts are permitted. The test draws questions from a pool that reshuffles both question sequence and answer options each time, preventing success through recalling that a particular answer occupied the third position.
What is a jodakshar, and why is it hard?
A jodakshar consists of two consonants combined without a vowel sound separating them, such as 'સ્ત' within 'સ્તન' or 'ક્ષ' within 'લક્ષ'. This presents difficulty because the fused shape appears as an entirely new letter rather than as two recognisable characters joined together, causing children to skip over it or estimate the pronunciation rather than methodically decoding it.
