Class 3 Tamil agara varisai test

Twenty-one questions on அகர வரிசை alone - the order of the உயிர் and மெய் letters, then sorting words by their first letter and, when those match, by the second. The second-letter questions are the ones that separate a child who has memorised the alphabet song from one who can actually use an அகராதி.

  • 21 questions, marked instantly
  • Every answer comes with the reasoning
  • Ends by naming what to revise
  • Nothing stored, no account, no email

Class 3 Tamil test - common questions

Is this Class 3 Tamil online test free?

It is completely free with no registration required. There is no need for an email address, account creation, or login. The browser runs the test, with no data saved anywhere. Your score appears on the page and vanishes when you close the tab. This matches what our privacy policy says we do, rather than asking you to take our word for it.

Which syllabus does it follow?

The Tamil Nadu Samacheer Kalvi is the curriculum adopted by all schools throughout the state for Tamil instruction - encompassing CBSE and ICSE schools in Tamil Nadu as well, given that Tamil is required regardless of board affiliation. A Class 3 student across Tamil Nadu encounters these identical vocabulary and concepts in a comparable sequence.

Is there a timer?

It is optional and disabled initially. An initial attempt should demonstrate actual understanding rather than speed under observation, as a timer on an unfamiliar test reflects anxiety as much as Tamil ability. When the timed feature is activated, roughly forty-five seconds are allowed per question.

Can my child take it more than once?

Students may retake as many times as desired. The system samples from a question bank with shuffled ordering and randomised answer positions on every attempt, making success through memorisation impossible. A second test taken after a week passes provides far richer information than a second test done the same evening.

How is this different from your Class 3 Tamil worksheets?

Worksheets cover one concept thoroughly with paper-based exercises that you mark; this assessment scores itself and combines content from the entire year. They fulfil different functions—a test pinpoints where understanding falters, while a worksheet remedies that specific weakness.
