The test aligns with NCERT Maths Mela 3, which CBSE schools use and which most state boards follow closely at this level. ICSE schools cover the same material but introduce multiplication tables slightly earlier, so this test remains relevant for ICSE students, though they might encounter a question or two beyond their current pace. Maths Mela 3 is the updated version of Math-Magic and covers identical content despite the new chapter structure.

This feature is optional and turned off by default. A first attempt should reveal what a child genuinely knows rather than how rapidly they respond under observation, because a timer on an unfamiliar test measures anxiety as much as their grasp of mathematics. An eight-year-old typically does not benefit from being timed on their initial attempt.
