Class 6 Kannada case endings test

Six vibhakti pratyaya are covered, with two approaches per item—identifying the ending within a word and recognising the vibhakti label independently. This grammar expresses the role a noun plays in a sentence, and students switching between Kannada and English frequently apply English syntax patterns to it, which is precisely what this test identifies.

Class 6 Kannada test - common questions

Is this Class 6 Kannada online test free?

Yes, completely free and requiring no sign-up at all. No email address needed, no account to set up, and no login procedure. Your browser runs the test with no information retained. The score appears on the page and is deleted when you close the browser tab, which is what our privacy policy guarantees rather than merely requesting your trust.

Which syllabus does it follow?

This follows the Class 6 Kannada curriculum established by Karnataka's State Board (KSEEB), used across government and most private schools in the region. Students learning Kannada as a secondary or tertiary language through CBSE encounter the same vibhakti and kaala principles, making this test applicable across curricula. However, CBSE learners might encounter sandhi somewhat before their own course materials introduce it.

Is there a timer?

Timing remains optional and disabled initially. An initial attempt should reveal what the child understands rather than their speed under observation, because time constraints on an unfamiliar test assess nervousness as much as language skill. An eleven-year-old typically does not gain benefit from being timed during an initial attempt.

Can my child take it more than once?

Multiple times, if desired. The questions come from a pool where the question arrangement and response options are shuffled on every attempt, making success through position memorisation impossible. Attempting the test a week later delivers significantly more useful information than repeating it the same evening.

Why does vibhakti pratyaya matter so much in Class 6?

The endings known as vibhakti pratyaya show a noun's function within a sentence - who performed an action, to whom the action applied, with what means, and from which location. These relationships appear in English through word order and prepositions. Children who switch between languages frequently bring English sentence patterns into their Kannada writing. Learning to correct this shift forms a key part of work during this year.
