What a Class 6 parent is actually paying for
Class 6 marks the jump from one teacher to six. It's the first year of NEP 2020's Middle Stage, and the day transforms completely. World Around Us splits into Science and Social Science, each with its own textbook and homework. A third language starts. Every subject has a different teacher, so no one adult sees your child's complete picture any more. Maths shifts too: negative numbers, calculations with fractions and decimals, and letters replacing numbers. Most Class 6 struggles aren't about ability - they're about a child organized for one teacher now juggling six.
What changes at Class 6
- Works with negative numbers on a number line and in ordinary calculations
- Adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides fractions and decimals, not just names them
- Finds factors, multiples, HCF and LCM and uses them inside a word problem
- Uses a letter to stand for an unknown and writes a simple expression or equation
What Class 6 parents tell us goes wrong
- Was near the top of the class in Class 5 and is suddenly mid-table, with nothing having gone wrong
- Copies notes off the board without understanding them, because the period ends before the question can be asked
- Handles fractions and decimals separately but falls apart when one sum contains both
- Cannot see why a letter is allowed to stand for a number, so treats algebra as a code to memorise
Fees for every other class
Banded by stage, so Class 1 to 5 is one price, Class 6 to 8 another and Class 9 and 10 a third. Nothing is quoted on a call.
- Class 1 · ₹3,000
- Class 2 · ₹3,000
- Class 3 · ₹3,000
- Class 4 · ₹3,000
- Class 5 · ₹3,000
- Class 7 · ₹4,000
- Class 8 · ₹4,000
- Class 9 · ₹5,000
- Class 10 · ₹5,000
What Class 6 tuition covers
Class 6 fees - what parents ask
How much does Class 6 tuition cost per month?
₹4,000 a month for Class 6 in a live group of three, covering 16 live classes/month. One-to-one is more. That is the published price for Class 6 to 8, and there is no admission fee, no material fee and no annual charge on top of it.
Why does Class 6 cost less than other classes?
Fees are banded by stage rather than set per class, so Class 6 to 8 is one price. Class 6 to 8 sits between the two - subjects separate out and a teacher needs real depth in each, but it is not yet board-exam preparation.
Is there anything to pay before the first class?
No. The first class is free and there is no card involved, so there is nothing to cancel if it is not right. Payment starts only from the month you decide to continue.
What does a Class 6 parent get for that fee?
Every subject your child's school is covering, Aligned to CBSE, ICSE or your state board, Exam & revision preparation - and a monthly note on what the teacher actually noticed, which is the part most families say they had never had before.
The Class 6 price is on this page. The first class is free.
One live class, no card and nothing to cancel. Afterwards you get an honest note on what the teacher actually noticed - including if we think your child does not need tuition.

- Live classes, never a crowded room
- One teacher, every single week
