What a Class 4 parent is actually paying for
Class 4 is where your child meets abstract thinking, and nine-year-olds who were fine with concrete work often wobble here. This is the year NCERT introduces fractions, multiplication moves to two- and three-digit numbers, and reading questions start to expect children to work out what a word means from the sentence around it, not just be told. The wobble usually comes from the jump: from things you can count to ideas you have to hold in your head.
What changes at Class 4
- Multiplies two- and three-digit numbers using a written method she can explain
- Identifies half, one-fourth and three-fourths of a whole and writes them as fractions
- Shows that one fraction is equivalent to another
- Works out the meaning of an unfamiliar word from the sentence it sits in
What Class 4 parents tell us goes wrong
- Multiplies correctly in a column but cannot say what the carried digit means
- Reads one-fourth as 'one over four' with no picture of it in her head
- Answers comprehension questions by copying the nearest-looking line from the passage
- Writes seven sentences that are seven separate thoughts rather than a paragraph
Fees for every other class
Banded by stage, so Class 1 to 5 is one price, Class 6 to 8 another and Class 9 and 10 a third. Nothing is quoted on a call.
- Class 1 · ₹3,000
- Class 2 · ₹3,000
- Class 3 · ₹3,000
- Class 5 · ₹3,000
- Class 6 · ₹4,000
- Class 7 · ₹4,000
- Class 8 · ₹4,000

What Class 4 tuition covers
Class 4 fees - what parents ask
How much does Class 4 tuition cost per month?
₹3,000 a month for Class 4 in a live group of three, covering 16 live classes/month. One-to-one is more. That is the published price for Class 1 to 5, and there is no admission fee, no material fee and no annual charge on top of it.
Why does Class 4 cost less than other classes?
Fees are banded by stage rather than set per class, so Class 1 to 5 is one price. Class 1 to 5 is the lowest band because one teacher can genuinely cover the whole year's work, and the sessions are shorter because the attention span is.
Is there anything to pay before the first class?
No. The first class is free and there is no card involved, so there is nothing to cancel if it is not right. Payment starts only from the month you decide to continue.
What does a Class 4 parent get for that fee?
Every subject your child's school is covering, Aligned to CBSE, ICSE or your state board, Exam & revision preparation - and a monthly note on what the teacher actually noticed, which is the part most families say they had never had before.
The Class 4 price is on this page. The first class is free.
