This test is based on NCERT, which CBSE schools follow directly, combining history, geography, civics and economics into a single integrated subject. ICSE divides these into separate history-civics and geography papers with its own distinct history curriculum, so the test serves primarily CBSE and state boards that use the NCERT framework.

Your child's first attempt should reveal what they actually understand, not their speed when timed, because the subject encompasses four distinct strands' worth of terminology, dates and facts requiring simultaneous attention. When enabled, timed mode permits roughly ninety seconds per question, approximating board examination pace.

There is no limit. Questions come from a pool, with both the sequence and the answer choices randomised each time, so a repeat attempt cannot succeed by recalling that the answer was previously in the third position. A test repeated a week later offers far richer information than one taken the same evening.

Worksheets take a single chapter in depth and ask you to mark them on paper. These tests mark themselves. They meet different purposes - a test reveals where the weakness is, a worksheet remedies it. Families often gain more from ten minutes here than from an hour practising a chapter that was never difficult.
