This test follows the CBSE and state boards (Urdu as a language paper) Class 9 curriculum. Other state boards teaching Urdu at this class level cover largely equivalent material, so the test remains useful for those students as well, though the occasional question might appear marginally ahead of or lag behind the progress of another board's specific timetable.

Optional and turned off from the start. First attempts should reveal what a child has learned, not velocity under observation, as a timer on an unfamiliar task gauges worry as much as language knowledge.
