Class 10 Maths trigonometry test
This test has twenty-two questions on introductory trigonometry alone - the chapter where sin, cos and tan first appear, and a child must simultaneously hold six ratios and their standard values in memory. The real difficulty is not the concept of a ratio itself - it is confusing which side is the opposite, which is the adjacent, and forgetting a standard angle value when answering under pressure. Each question comes with an explanation of its method. The final screen identifies which part of the chapter needs further study.

What this test covers
- Trigonometric ratios of an acute angle
- Standard angle values - 0, 30, 45, 60, 90 degrees
- Trigonometric ratios of complementary angles
- Trigonometric identities
- Simple applications using ratios
20 questions, marked as you go
Drawn fresh from a bank of 22, so another go is mostly different questions. Every one explains its method after you answer, and the last screen names the chapters to revise.

Class 10 Maths test - common questions
Which trigonometry values does a Class 10 child actually need to memorise?
The sine, cosine and tangent values at 0, 30, 45, 60 and 90 degrees - fifteen figures in total, with some repeating and others mirroring, which is why examiners draw heavily from them in short-response questions. Every other part of the chapter rests on secure knowledge of this table.
What is the fastest way to remember the complementary angle rules?
The prefix 'Co' means complement. Cosine represents the sine of the complementary angle, cosecant represents the secant of the complementary angle, and cotangent represents the tangent of the complementary angle. Recognising this pattern clarifies why sin(90-A)=cos A and eliminates the need to memorise the remaining pairs independently.
Is this Class 10 maths online test free?
Absolutely, it is entirely free with no registration required. There is no need for an email address, user account or login credentials. The test operates within your browser without retaining any information, and the score remains visible only in that session before vanishing when you close the browser tab. Our privacy policy reflects this practice directly rather than asking for your confidence.
Is there a timer?
Timing is optional and disabled initially. A first go should reveal what a child truly understands, not the pace at which they work when observed. When timed mode is enabled, approximately ninety seconds per question matches the board exam speed for objective-type questions.
Can my child take it more than once?
Repeatedly if desired. The question bank ensures variety, and each attempt reshuffles both the sequence and the answer options, making it impossible to succeed through memorisation. During board year exams, periodic retakes guided by your revision checklist prove more beneficial than a single extended study session.
How is this different from your Class 10 maths worksheets?
Paper worksheets concentrate on one chapter intensively and you score them yourself; tests automatically score and mix chapters like a real exam does. A test identifies the gap, worksheets then fill it—families typically find ten minutes here yields more gain than an hour practising something that never was the real difficulty.
