Class 10 Sanskrit vachya test

Twenty-one questions centred on वाच्य. Recognising whether a sentence belongs to कर्तृवाच्य or कर्मवाच्य is the simpler part of this topic - board papers demand conversion, changing one into the other while maintaining the case ending and verb agreement. Therefore, most of this bank practises conversion rather than identification only.

Class 10 Sanskrit test - common questions

Is this Class 10 Sanskrit online test free?

Yes, entirely, with no registration required. No email address, no account creation, no login credentials needed. The test operates within your browser and stores no data—the result appears on the page and is cleared when you close the tab, which aligns with our privacy terms rather than requiring trust.

Which syllabus does it follow?

The NCERT Shemushi Part 2 and Vyakaranavithi texts used by CBSE schools for Class 10 Sanskrit. This is the final year before the board examination, which encompasses every grammar topic introduced from Class 6 onwards. Rather than treating any topic as mastered, this test integrates all of them.

Is there a timer?

This feature is optional and disabled initially. A first test should reveal what your child understands, not how quickly they recall rules under time pressure. When activated, the timer allows roughly one minute per question, matching typical board-exam conditions.

Can my child take it more than once?

Students may retake the test as many times as needed. The system draws from a question bank and randomises them on each attempt, preventing success through memory of previous answer positions. A test taken a week after the first provides far greater insight than one taken the same evening.

Why does a Class 10 test still ask about topics from Class 6 to 8?

The board exam does. संधि, समास and कारक taught in previous years remain in the exam long after newer topics such as अनुवाद are introduced - these older concepts appear within the same passages. A test covering only this year's new material would overlook most of what the actual paper tests.
