Common errors arise when writers forget to adjust the 'be' verb to correspond with the original tense, rather than from mispronouncing the past participle.

When 'must submit' transforms into 'must be submitted', an extra word seems to materialise unexpectedly, though it was present throughout and merely concealed by active construction.
