Class 1 Marathi test - common questions
Is this Class 1 Marathi online test free?
The test is entirely free, with no registration required. No email address is needed, no account has to be created, and there is no login process. Everything happens within your browser, and no data is stored anywhere. Your score appears on the page itself and vanishes as soon as you close the tab - this reflects what our privacy policy actually states, rather than asking for your trust in an empty promise.
My child does not speak Marathi at home - is this test still useful?
Yes, and proceeding at a measured pace is worthwhile. Each question assesses letter identification and basic vocabulary rather than reading fluency. Being present for the first attempt and reading each option aloud together provides significantly more benefit than repeated independent practice.
Which syllabus does it follow?
The Maharashtra State Board (Balbharati) Class 1 Marathi course, which every school in the state teaches from Class 1 under the Compulsory Teaching of Marathi Act 2020 - CBSE, ICSE and IB schools included, not only state board ones.
Can my child take it more than once?
Whenever they choose. The test draws from a larger question set with positions and answer layouts shuffled anew each session, blocking success through simple position recall.
How is this different from your Class 1 Marathi worksheets?
Worksheets provide in-depth paper-based practice on a single topic, requiring your marking; the tests self-score. A test reveals what needs work; a worksheet then addresses it. Most parents discover they benefit more from minutes spent on a test than from an hour drilling a skill that was not the core issue.
